Proseeder is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to client specifications. You will work closely with our design and content teams to create visually appealing and highly functional websites that provide a seamless user experience. Your role will involve both front-end and back-end development, ensuring that websites are optimized for speed, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications that meet client and business needs.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly web layouts and features.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and more.
- Implement and maintain content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, ensuring site functionality and ease of use.
- Optimize website performance, including improving load times, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure the smooth functioning of websites.
- Develop and integrate APIs to enhance website functionality and third-party service integration.
- Ensure websites are secure by implementing best practices for cybersecurity and data protection.
- Stay updated with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to ensure website features align with SEO and digital marketing strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a portfolio showcasing a range of responsive web design and development projects.
- Strong proficiency in front-end development languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Bootstrap or React.
- Experience with back-end development, including knowledge of server-side languages like PHP, Node.js, or Python.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress, and experience with theme and plugin customization.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, user experience (UX), and web accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of web security protocols and best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
